About Angel Flight of New England
Founded in 1996, Angel Flight Northeast (AFNE) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to coordinating free air and ground transportation so children and adults can access lifesaving and life-changing medical care, regardless of financial or geographic barriers.
This mission is made possible by more than 300 volunteer pilots and trusted partnerships with commercial aviation partners, including JetBlue and Cape Air.
Over the past 30 years, Angel Flight Northeast has coordinated more than 111,000 flights, flown over 17 million miles, and connected patients to care at 750+ medical facilities—all at no cost to the families we serve. Each year alone, more than 3,000 flights provide access to cancer treatment, clinical trials, specialized surgery, and critical care.
