Public Policy Agenda
Through our advocacy work, MCN strives to educate and promote the importance of the nonprofit sector for not only our local communities, but the entire Commonwealth.
One of the most important elements of MCN’s mission is to advocate for policies that support Massachusetts nonprofits and against those that make it more difficult for nonprofits to pursue their charitable mission. Scroll down to learn more about our ongoing advocacy work.
To achieve our goals, MCN works with legislators and elected and appointed officials to educate them and garner their support. MCN also works with nonprofits across the state to involve them in these efforts through education and engagement at critical points in the legislative process.
